Gunsmithing
BTA provides comprehensive gunsmithing services for handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Our services include full diagnostics and function testing, parts sourcing and replacement, trigger jobs and action tuning, barrel work, refinishing and protective coating, malfunction diagnosis and correction, and return-to-factory or enhanced specification builds. Every firearm that comes through our shop is inspected, serviced, and function-tested before it goes back in your hands.
Custom Builds
We specialize in end-to-end custom firearm builds designed around your specific intended use — whether that is home defense, competition, hunting, or collecting. Our process starts with a consultation to understand your platform preference, component priorities, and budget. We then source components, assemble, headspace, test, and document the completed build. You receive a firearm built to your exact specification, not a shelf gun with a few aftermarket parts thrown on.
Sight-In & Optics
BTA offers professional optic mounting, bore-sighting, and live-fire zero confirmation for rifles, pistols, and shotguns. Whether you are mounting a red dot, a magnified scope, or night vision compatible hardware, we ensure your optic is properly torqued, aligned, and zeroed before it leaves our hands.
80% Lowers — Information & Guidance
BTA provides information and guidance on 80% lower receivers for customers interested in building their own firearm legally and responsibly. We can advise on platform selection, jig requirements, tooling, and the legal framework surrounding personally manufactured firearms (PMFs) under federal and Arizona state law. All guidance is provided for lawful purposes only. Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. BTA does not manufacture or sell 80% lowers directly but can point you toward reputable suppliers and walk you through the process.
FFL Transfer Service
BTA is a federally licensed firearms dealer and manufacturer authorized to conduct FFL transfers for firearms purchased online or through out-of-state sellers. Handgun transfers are $20 ($15 for CCW holders). Rifle transfers are $25 ($20 for CCW holders). CCW discount requires presentation of a valid Arizona concealed carry permit at time of transfer. All transfers require completion of ATF Form 4473 and a NICS background check. Contact us to initiate your transfer and receive shipping instructions for the sending dealer.
